CONFESSIONS BEFORE MASS OR BY APPOINTMENT  

Feb. 3, was the feast of St. Blaise or Szent Balázs. Throats will be blessed today after Mass.

ON FEB. 10 – LENT BEGINS WITH ASH WEDNESDAY. It is a day of fast and abstinence. Fasting for those 14-60 years old, only 3 meals a day.   Abstinence from meat for all as well as on all Fridays of Lent. Ashes will be distributed on Wednesday and also next Sunday.

ALL FRIDAYS OF LENT-— STATIONS OF THE CROSS AT 4:30PM AND MASS AT 5PM.

ANYONE WISHING TO RECEIVE THE SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM OR CONFIRMATION, please contact the Rectory.

LAST WEEKEND’S COLLECTION: Sunday offering: $1,934., Maintenance Fund:   $125. NEXT SUNDAY, – YOUTH MASS. After Mass all are invited to an agapé in the hall and February birthdays will be celebrated.

SUNDAY MISSALS IN ENGLISH are in the church for those who do not speak Hungarian and wish to follow the liturgy.

LOOKING AHEAD: We are planning a pilgrimage to the shrine of Csíksomlyó, Transylvania. The tour bus will leave Budapest on May 11 and return to Budapest on May 20, 2016, and will cost about $700.   The airplane trip between Cleveland and Budapest is up to each individual.   There still are 5 more seats on the tour bus. Please call the rectory for more information.

THE DONATION ENVELOPES FOR YEAR 2016 ARE READY AND ARE IN THE SUNDAY OFFICE.   PLEASE HELP US SAVE POSTAGE COST BY PICKING UP YOUR ENVELOPE BOX BY FEBRUARY 14.

LOOKING AHEAD—SCOUT BANQUET on Sunday, Feb. 21 in the Parish Hall at 12:30PM. Menu: Creamy mushroom soup, stewed beef in red wine, egg barley and vegetable sides, dessert and coffee for $19. TODAY – SECOND COLLECTION – for the Missions in El Salvador and Latin America. This collection also benefits the formation of seminarians and lay leaders in 23 countries across Latin America. Thank you for your generosity.
