THANKSGIVING:  On June 14, 2018, I received the sacrament of Holy Orders in St. Michael Cathedral in Veszprem, I give thanks to God for inviting me to the priesthood through which I received the calling to preach the gospel and to help those entrusted to my spiritual care to attain eternal salvation. I ask you to pray for me that my work be pleasing to God, for His greater honor and glory, and the joy of all.

FATHER’S DAY CHICKEN PAPRIKAS DINNER:  Welcome to all who came today to celebrate Father’s Day with us.  Let us pray to St. Joseph for guidance to all who assume the responsibilities of being a father and being like a father that they may follow St. Joseph’s example with humility and wisdom. St. Joseph pray for us!

Please note:  The Parish Field Trip to Frankenmuth, Michigan, and Detroit is tentatively scheduled for September 15-16, the feast day celebration at Holy Cross Church in Detroit.

LOOKING AHEAD: AUGUST 18-19 ST. STEPHEN DAY HUNGARIAN FESTIVAL AT OUR CHURCH GROUNDS.

FATHER ANDRAS ANTAL WILL BE CELEBRATING HIS GOLDEN JUBILEE MASS (50th  anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood) on June 24, 11:00 AM with his parishioners, as the pastor of St. Elizabeth Parish, giving thanks for his 30 years work there, and also giving thanks to God that after so many years he is now retiring.  Afterwards there will be a banquet. The menu is the traditional roast pork and chicken with side dishes, salad, dessert, and coffee.  Cost is $20. for adults,  for children under 12 years and students $10.
