EPIPHANY OF THE LORD.  Today the Church celebrates the Solemnity of the Epiphany. “The Lord and ruler is coming; kingship is his, and government and power.” With these words the Church proclaims that today’s feast brings to a perfect fulfillment all the purposes of Advent. Epiphany, therefore, marks the liturgical zenith of the Advent-Christmas season. At the beginning of Mass the water will be blessed, and you may take home if you wish.

NEXT SUNDAY YOUTH MASS: Looking forward to the young assisting in the liturgy. Next Sunday special blessing of Families! After Mass all are invited to the agapé downstairs to celebrate those born this month! Also, that SUNDAY after Mass we will serve doughnut breakfast (2 doughnuts and coffee) for $4 donation. Please come and join us for this winter social.

DONATION ENVELOPES FOR YEAR 2018 are now ready and are in the Sunday Office.  To help save postage cost, please pick up your envelopes.  Please inform us of any name-address changes.

BLESSING OF HOMES: If you would like to have your house blessed, please let me know or call the Rectory.

DOUGHNUT SALE: Ladies of the altar Guild are baking the traditional Hungarian doughnuts – FÁNK- for sale. Please order your doughnuts by January 12 by calling one of the ladies listed .  Cost is $12. a dozen and can be picked up Sunday, January 14 before or after the 11 AM Mass. Also, that SUNDAY after Mass we will serve doughnut breakfast (2 doughnuts and coffee) for $4. Please come and join us for this winter social.
