TODAY MOST HOLY TRINITY Sunday: The greatest mystery of our faith,  the Most Holy Trinity, which the mind cannot comprehend, but is ever so close to our heart.  It is the joy and hapiness of our christian life, that we are the children of the Father, brothers and sisters of the Son, and temples of the Holy Spirit.

TODAY —- MEMORIAL REMEMBRANCE OF THOSE WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES FOR THEIR HOMELAND:  Mass at 11Am at St. Emeric Church and commemorative program at 1PM in Sunset Memorial Park, Westwood Abbey Mausoleum,  (6265 Columbia Rd.), followed by laying of the wreath at the beautiful Hungarian Heroes commemorative statue on site.

WARMEWST WELCOME TO Tamás Kovács, Hungarian chief consul from Chicago and Colonel János Hess, Hungarian Military attaché from Washington who are with us today and will address the participants at the Commemoration.

NEXT Sunday FEAST OF CORPUS CHRISTI.  We will hold our traditional outdoor procession after Mass.  I request our parishioners to bring flower petals, if possible, and am asking the young girls to participate in procession by wearing their white dresses and strewing the flower petals.  Please set up and decorate the outdoor altars, as in the past.

NEXT Sunday YOUTH MASS AT 11 AM.  All are invited to the agapé after the procession to celebrate the June birthdays.

PARISH FIELD TRIP:  We are organizing a 2-day excursion to Michigan on June 23-24.  We leave Saturday at 7AM and  arrive in Frankenmuth, „Michigan’s Little Bavaria” for sightseeing, shopping, lunch, wine tasting, and dinner in Detroit’s Hungarian Rhapsody Restaurant.  Lodging at nearby hotel. Sunday- Mass at Holy Cross Hungarian Church at 11 AM, light agapé afterwards.  We will also visit the Henry Ford Museum arrive back home Sunday evening. Travel will be by comfortable motorcoach. Approximate cost $270.per person, all inclusive. To make reservations, please call Marika Zsula at 216-676-5863 by June 3.
