FEAST OF THE EPIPHANY OF THE LORD: The poor and humble surroundings of Bethlehem did not manifest the glory of God. The feast of Epiphany reveals to us that glory. The 3 kings understood the call to follow the heavenly sign, and they found the way leading to God.  They assumed many sacrifices and yet did not consider themselves heroes, but rather were happy to find and offer gifts to the newborn King. At the beginning of Mass we will bless water of which you may have to take home with you.

BLESSING OF HOMES: If you wish to have your home blessed, a tradition for this time, please let me know by contacting me in person or calling the Rectory.

DEAR PARISHIONERS! PLEASE PICK UP YOUR 2020 YEAR DONATION ENVELOPES IN THE SUNDAY OFFICE. Thank you for your generosity in supporting the parish throughout the year. If there are any address changes, please notify us.

THANK YOU! Sincerest thanks for the dedicated work of all who helped in our New Year’s Eve celebration preparations and administration.  Everyone had a wonderful time.

MY SINCEREST THANK YOU TO EVERYONE for your kindness to me expressed in your holiday good wishes and gifts.

NEW YEAR’S WISH: “The first week of the new year has dawned upon us and people as they wake up ponder over what the new year holds in store for them, what can they expect, what they would like to achieve, what they can hope for.  But my message to them on this morning is not to yearn for romantic happiness, or success or riches or power or long life or even good health.  I would like them to clasp their hands and have but one wish for themselves: before the time for the harvest comes, please allow my soul to reach its fullness.” Selma Lagerlof

NEXT SUNDAY YOUTH MASS. After Mass all are invited to an agapé where we will celebrate those whose birthday is in the month of January.
