Krisztus val\u00f3s\u00e1gos jelenl\u00e9t\u00e9r\u0151l sz\u00f3l\u00f3 tan\u00edt\u00e1s az Euchariszti\u00e1ban azt a t\u00e9nyt hangs\u00falyozza, hogy a liturgi\u00e1ban haszn\u00e1lt keny\u00e9r \u00e9s bor a mise \u00fcnnepl\u00e9se sor\u00e1n (a konszekr\u00e1ci\u00f3 idej\u00e9n) J\u00e9zus Krisztus val\u00f3s\u00e1gos Test\u00e9v\u00e9 \u00e9s V\u00e9r\u00e9v\u00e9 v\u00e1lik. Szent Ign\u00e1c p\u00e9ld\u00e1ul a szmirnaiakhoz \u00edrt level\u00e9ben egyszer\u0171en fogalmazott: \u201eAz Eucharisztia a mi Megv\u00e1lt\u00f3nk, J\u00e9zus Krisztus teste, aki szenvedett a b\u0171neink\u00e9rt, \u00e9s aki az Atya j\u00f3s\u00e1ga \u00e1ltal felt\u00e1madt a hal\u00e1lb\u00f3l.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A k\u00f6z\u00e9pkorban olyan teol\u00f3gusok, mint Aquin\u00f3i Szent Tam\u00e1s, arisztotel\u00e9szi kateg\u00f3ri\u00e1kat haszn\u00e1lva elm\u00e9lkedtek arr\u00f3l, hogy Krisztus hogyan van jelen az Euchariszti\u00e1ban.
