TODAY – THE ORDER AND SOCIETY OF ST. LASZLO will hold their annual feast day celebration. After Mass the annual meeting will be in the Mindszenty Room, when Laszlo Strober, a parishioner, will be inducted into the order. Congratulations to him, and may he and the members preserve the inspiring legacy of Saint Laszlo. Light lunch in the hall afterwards for the members.
JULY 4, NATIONAL HOLIDAY OF USA. God bless America! And its dedicated people! May Our Heavenly Father inspire the leaders to direct the country so that it is for the good of the people, and to not forget about building the Kingdom of God.
LOOKING AHEAD: AUGUST 18-19 ST. STEPHEN DAY HUNGARIAN FESTIVAL AT OUR CHURCH GROUNDS.
Right now, just please SAVE THE DATE. The festivities on Saturday include entertainment and delicious foods for sale from noon, live music all day, performances by artists from Hungary and by our local Harmonia Ensemble and Scouts. On Sunday the Festival closes with Mass at 11AM celebrated by Most Reverend Nelson J. Perez, Bishop of Cleveland, and agapé afterwards. Also, if you have any decorative items or folk art items that you wish to part with and that we could sell at our bazaar table, please consider donating it. If you would like to become a Festival patron, forms are available in the back of the church.
MOST REVEREND NELSON J. PEREZ, BISHOP OF CLEVELAND DIOCESE, has appointed me, as of July 1, to be the administrator of St. Elizabeth Parish in addition to my position here at St. Emeric. I will celebrate the first Mass at St. Elizabeth Church next Sunday, July 8, at 9:30AM. The Mass at St. Emeric, here, remains at 11:00 AM.
THE DIOCESAN FAMILY FEST , AUGUST 5, SUNDAY. Plan to bring the family, it is a day of faith and fun, all for FREE!
