SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM: On Saturday, ALEC LASZLO DUDEVSZKY, child of Max Andrew Dudevszky and Kylie Ann Dudevszky, and today ATTILA JÓZSEF BARÁTH, child of István Attila Baráth and Júlia Terese Báráth (Némethy) received the sacrament of Baptism. Let us pray for them, the children and their parents, that they may keep for their life eternal the graces that they received as children of God in the sacrament today.
AUGUST 18-19 ST. STEPHEN DAY HUNGARIAN FESTIVAL AT OUR CHURCH GROUNDS. The festivities on Saturday include entertainment and delicious foods for sale from noon, live music all day, performances by artists from Hungary and by our local Harmonia Ensemble and Scouts Folk Dance Group and Mass at 5PM. On Sunday the Festival closes with Mass at 11AM celebrated by Most Reverend Nelson J. Perez, Bishop of Cleveland, and agapé afterwards. Also, if you have any decorative items or folk art items that you wish to part with and that we could sell at our bazaar table, please consider donating it and contact Rose Prisko, Anci Patay or Orsolya Sedensky. If you would like to become a Festival Patron, forms are available in the back of the church. Also, you might ask a business/store where you shop, if they would like to be a sponsor.
FEST 2018: Two Weeks Away! Join us in two weeks – Sunday, August 5m 2018 for The FFEST – our 18 Annual Catholic Family FESTival from 12 noon until 10:00p.m. at the grounds of Borromeo and Saint Mary Seminary 28700 Euclid Ave. Wickliffe, Oh. Join with thousands from across our region, for a day of faith, family and great fun! It’s all FREE. The day concludes with a beautiful outdoor Mass at 8:00pm with Bishop Perez. Today at the Hungarian Cultural Center of Northeast Ohio – 4th Annual Classic Car show & Picnic. Gates will open at 11:00.am. admission is $5.00 per person. Enjoy authentic Hungarian foods and pastries. Beverages are also available for purchase. Music by the Hungarians for your dancing pleasure from 2:00 to 6:00pm.
