BAPTISM TODAY: We welcome Ágoston Tamás Csajka into the Church today on his baptism.  Let us pray for him that he always remain a child of God throughout his life as today and may his parents by their example inspire him.

SUNDAY MISSALS IN ENGLISH are in a box by the church entrance. After use, please return them after Mass.

TODAY-COMMEMORATION IN HONOR OF ST. STEPHEN,KING OF HUNGARY:  Traditional special blessing of  the “new bread” in church. Afterwards, all are invited to an agapé downstairs to celebrate the August birthdays.  Thank you to Lajos Mezősi for the generous beautiful Hungarian bread he baked for this special occasion.

THIS PAST WEEK A GROUP OF PARISHIONERS WENT ON A SPIRITUAL DAY to Lake Hope to meet with and hear the inspiring message of Christian brotherly love by Father Csaba Böjte whose work is truly the spiritual light in the world of so much darkness. Father Csaba sends his good wishes and  blessings to all Hungarians in Cleveland.

PARISHIONER REGISTRATION: Several people have indicated they would like to register officially as parishioners.  Please fill out the appropriate form found in the Sunday Office and return it or please see Father.

SPECIAL REQUEST FROM THE HUNGARIAN GOVERNMENT: In preparation for the 60th anniversary of the 1956 Freedom Revolution, they would like to compile a list of names of refugees and their sponsors here in the U.S.A. Forms can be found in the back of the church and when completed, please give to Ildiko Peller who will forward them.

LOOKING AHEAD —- ANNUAL HUNGARIAN SCOUT FESTIVALSUNDAY SEPTEMBER 4.  German Central Park, 7863 York Rd., Parma. On location Mass and church service at 11 AM.  Delicious Hungarian style foods, pastries, scout performances, interactive children’s activities, live music by Alex Udvary, Kalman Hegedeos, and Harmonia group. EUROPEAN FESTIVAL, SEPTEMBER 10 AT ST. MARY MAGDALENE BYZANTINE CATHOLIC CHURCH – 5390 W.220 St., Fairview Park, OH. Saturday, 11AM to 11PM. Free admission. Ethnic cuisine, raffles.
