TODAY, SUNDAY, THE DEDICATION OF THE NEW SIGN in front of our church. The sign and the posts (also called “kopjafa” ) are the work of Gergely Adorjani, master carver from Transylvania. We will have an agapé afterwards and a collection to cover the expenses. Please support this project, if you can. If you plan to write a check, please make check payable to St. Emeric Church and in memo write the “Sign Fund.”
THANK YOU TO ALL WHO CAME TO CELEBRATE MASS AT THE SCOUT PICNIC last Sunday. I also invite all, young and old, to our church on Sundays to worship and give thanks to God.
NEXT SUNDAY-YOUTH MASS. Welcome back to all from their many interesting summer activities, vacations, camping, and reconnecting with heritage programs. We look forward to the youth assisting at the Mass celebration. Also, after Mass all are invited to an agapé recognizing all those whose birthday is in the month of September.
PARISHIONER REGISTRATION: Several people have indicated they would like to register officially as parishioners. Please fill out the appropriate form found in the Sunday Office and return it or please see Father.
LOOKING AHEAD: PLANNED PILGRIMAGE TO CSÍKSOMLYÓ (Transylvania) IN 2017. The day at the shrine itself is Saturday, June 3. If you are thinking about participating, please make your intention known as soon as possible.
