PLEASE PRAY FOR THE DECEASED, especially Attila Gyarmathy, whose Funeral Mass was last Friday.
Also, Gustav Veres for whom funeral services will be at the Bodnar-Mahoney Funeral at 11 AM on Saturday, May 7, followed by burial in Sunset Memorial Park. May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace.

WARMEST WELCOME TO ALL WHO ARE MAKING THEIR FIRST HOLY COMMUNION in our church today! Let us pray for them that this special event of receiving the Body of Christ becomes a regular part of their entire life. After Mass, all parishioners are invited to an agapé downstairs to share in the celebration of this joyous event.
MOTHER’S DAY: In Hungary it is celebrated on the first Sunday of May. We pray for the intercession of our Heavenly Mother for all mothers and those who are mothers in heart. As May is the most beautiful month of the year, today we greet with loving heart and greatest respect the most beautiful mother of all, the Blessed Virgin Mary, and all mothers whose love has been given so freely to their children.
BAPTISM: Robert Henry Slattery received the Sacrament of Baptism today. Let us pray for him that he may remain a child of God into eternal life. Let us pray for his parents also, that they may raise their child with their good example.
HEARTFELT CONGRATULATIONS to Miklos and Katalin Szentkirályi on the occasion of their 40th wedding anniversary which they celebrate today. We pray for God’s abundant blessings on their life, that they may live the sacrament of matrimony in their love and care for each other for many more years to come.
PILGRIMAGE TO CSÍKSOMLYÓ: As you know, some of our parishioners and myself will be making the annual Pentecost Pilgrimage to Csiksomlyó, in Transylvania. I will be leaving May 7 and returning May 20. During that time Fr. Bob Begin will be celebrating the weekend Masses. For spiritual assistance during that time, please contact Fr. András Antal, pastor of St. Elizabeth Church, 216-231-0325. For other issues, please call Joe Gyorky or leave message on the church’s voicemail.
