THE FEAST OF CORPUS CHRISTI: THE BODY AND BLOOD OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST. We will have the outdoor procession after Mass, weather permitting. The presence of Jesus among us in the Eucharist is our greatest treasure. We guard it in the tabernacle, but today we take out into the street in a procession. We ask those who brought flower petals to help the children distribute them during the procession. Thank you to all who helped in this beautiful celebration!
SECOND COLLECTION : Next Sunday we will have a second collection “Peter’s Pence” for the intention of the Holy Father.
FATHER’S DAY: We ask for St. Joseph’s intercession and example for all fathers. Lord, create fathers who are loving teachers to their children and faithful nurturers of their wives, who earn the respect of their entire family.
CSIKSOMLYO: We will have a slide show presentation of our Pilgrimage on Sunday, June 2nd at 7 pm. with a Transylvanian dinner. A dance group from Keszthely will perform after dinner. We will also celebrate our American Independence Day! Details next week.
LOOKING AHEAD-PLEASE SAVE THE DATE:
— August 19 and 20 Feastday of St. Stephen — our two-day Hungarian Festival on site here. Let us live and share with the community the many aspects of our wonderful Hungarian-American heritage and culture. Details will be forthcoming.
—June 25 Feast of St. Laszlo: The Knights of St Laszlo invite everyone to the feastday Mass.
