HUNGARY’S PRESIDENT DR. TAMÁS SULYOK VISIT TO CLEVELAND – MARCH 1, 2026

On the second Sunday of Lent, March 1, 2026, the President of Hungary, Dr. Tamás Sulyok, attended the Holy Mass at St. Emeric Roman Catholic Hungarian Church in Cleveland. After the Mass, he participated in the light luncheon in the church’s banquet hall, where nearly 200 people were waiting. After the meeting, he visited the activities of the Cleveland Hungarian Scouts at the Scout Center next to the church. His afternoon visit concluded with a commemoration held at the St. Elizabeth of Hungary Shrine in honor of the 1848–49 War for Hungarian Independence. The following Monday evening, the President returned to St. Emeric to experience the lessons held at the Cleveland Hungarian School.
