CHRISTMAS, THE NATIVITY OF OUR LORD, JESUS CHRIST: God knew what the world needed. In His Son He sent light to dispel the darkness. He sent life, to conquer death. He sent the spring of living waters, and He embraced mankind starving for love. WE WISH A BLESSED AND HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OUR BRETHREN.
NEW YEAR’S EVE AT ST. EMERIC’S: As indicated earlier, we will be bidding farewell to the old year and welcoming the new in our church hall December 31, after the 7PM Mass. Dinner menu: Appetizers (cold) including potato salad, vegetable salad, stuffed eggs, and meatballs, followed by main course of Pork roast a la Bakonyi mode with mashed potatoes, also cod fillets in lemon sauce with rice. Dessert tiramisu. After midnight lentils and wieners. The price includes an aperitif drink and champagne. You may bring own drinks. Cost is $50. for adults, $25. for students, and free for children under 10. Children are welcome. Music by DJ Laszlo Bohar. During the evening and included in the admission price, there will be drawing for cash prizes. On Sunday, December 31, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. the First Hungarian Reformed Church of Walton Hills will hold the Year End Service and at 7.00 p.m the New Year’s Eve Party.
The menu is: Appetizer, Temesvári Pork Roast with mashed potatoes, Beef Paprikas with dumplings, Dessert. After midnight: bean soup, lencsefőzelék, (lentil), virsli, (sausage).

Special raffle before midnight. First prize: LED TV. Second prize: Laptop. Third prize: Tablet. And many more great prizes!
The ticket price is $48 before December 15th, and $50 after December 15th for adults and $12 for children, ages 10-16 years. Party of 8 or more people $45 each before December 15th.
