ADVENT is a time of quiet reflection and meditation in preparation for the coming of Christ. Let us prepare spiritually for the celebration of the true meaning of Christmas. If you have a family member who is ill and cannot come to church, please call to arrange for a pastoral visit.
ADVENT DAY OF RECOLLECTION — Saturday, December 19. Spiritual preparation for the birth of Our Lord— Preparation for the sacrament of reconciliation at 4PM, followed by opportunity for confession in Hungarian until Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at 5PM, and Mass at 6 PM. Guest priest will be available for confession in English beginning at 5:15 PM.

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 18, — THE SCOUTS INVITE EVERYONE TO THEIR TRADITIONAL HUNGARIAN CHRISTMAS PROGRAM IN THE CHURCH beginning at 7:30 PM.
GIFTS FOR THE NEEDY: We are collecting for the needy warm hats, gloves, scarves, socks, and (new) underwear for men and women, as well as soap, toiletries, shampoo, etc. If you would like to help, please drop off your donations in our Sunday office until January 1. We will then deliver them to the West Side Catholic Center, or St. Augustins outreach to the needy. Many thanks!
