DEO GRATIAS: From Fr. András Mezei. I give thanks that through the grace of God I have been able to perform my priestly pastoral work here at St. Emeric Parish for a year now. I thank you all for the wonderful surprise you planned for me last Sunday, the cards and good wishes, the gifts. The greatest gift, of course, was that you honored me with your presence, and for the thanksgiving we celebrated together. And special thank you to all who donated so generously to the bountiful agapé feast we shared together. May Our Heavenly Father bless you abundantly for your kindness and generosity.

The Hungarian Friends Org. will hold its 40th annual conference August 13-20 at Lake Hope State Park in southern Ohio. If enough people are interested in going together as a group for the one day on Aug. 15 to hear Father Csaba Bojte, Franciscan monk from Transylvania, speak, we may rent a bus.
