ON THE THIRD ANNIVERARY OF THE DEATH OF FATHER SANDOR SIKLODI: With heartfelt gratitude we remember our beloved former pastor, Father Sandor Siklodi, who for 28 years guided his flock on our journey toward salvation. May Almighty God give him eternal rest; may he rest in peace. “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. As to the rest, there is laid up for me a crown of justice,”( 2Tim.4:7-8)
PILGRIMAGE VISITORS AT OUR CHURCH: Next Wednesday a group of 100 pilgrimage participants from Rootstown, Niles, and Poland, Ohio will be celebrating Mass with us at 10AM. The parents of one of the leaders of the group, Father David Misbrener, are originally from Hungary. We lovingly welcome them to our church!
SUNDAY MISSALS IN ENGLISH are in a box by the church entrance. After use, please return them after Mass.
PARISHIONER REGISTRATION: Several people have indicated they would like to register officially as parishioners. Please fill out the appropriate form found in the Sunday Office and return it or please see Father.
NEXT SUNDAY: DIOCESE OF CLEVELAND FAMILY FESTIVAL, THE FEST, will be, August 7, Free and open to all, at 28700 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe, from noon until 10PM. URGENT— The Hungarian Friends Org. will hold its 40th annual conference August 13-20 at Lake Hope State Park in southern Ohio. If enough people wish to go together as a group for the one day on Aug. 15 to hear Father Csaba Bojte, Franciscan monk from Transylvania, speak, we may rent a bus. If interested, please call the Rectory or Maria Zsula 216-676-5863 IMMEDIATELY within a few days so that the appropriate bus arrangement can be made in a timely manner.
SPECIAL REQUEST FROM THE HUNGARIAN GOVERNMENT: In preparation for the 60th anniversary of the 1956 Freedom Revolution, they would like to compile a list of names of refugees and their sponsors here in the U.S.A. Forms can be found in the back of the church and when completed, please give to Ildiko Peller who will forward them. Thank you.
