On September 6, 2025, it was exactly 100 years that the current church building of St. Emeric parish was consecrated. Parishioners gathered that day for a special Mass at 5 p.m. held in two languages English and Hungarian. For this special celebration, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass was offered from the original large altar of St. Emeric Church from the time when it was consecrated. Pastor Fr. Richard Bona, dressed in an original 120-year-old vestment from the church, used the old pulpit for the gospel and the homily. Afterwards, everyone in attendance was invited to a reception in the Church Hall to toast the centennial milestone with champagne and partake in small bites along with a delicious commemorative cake prepared especially for this wonderful occasion. Reminiscences were heard around the tables as many reflected over pleasant memories of the Church from the past many years.
