MASS TIME NEXT SUNDAY AND SUNDAYS AFTERWARDS
WILL BE AT 11 AM. !!!
TODAY IS THE FEAST OF ALL SAINTS, when we remember all the saints, even all whose names are not in the church calendar.
MONDAY, NOVEMBER 2, IS ALL SOULS DAY, when we pray for the poor souls in purgatory. That is, we remember the “Church Suffering”. In many places it is customary the night before to visit the graves of loved ones in the cemetery, decorate the graves with flowers, wreaths, and candles, reminding us that eternal light may shine for the souls of those departed ones. In Hungary, this is also a beautiful custom, where as many candles are lit, as number of deceased family members.
FIRST FRIDAY – following 5 PM Mass, we invite all to come to a discussion of forming a Rosary Society here.
VISITING THE SICK IS ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WORKS OF MERCY: Fr. András Mezei will visit sick and homebound parishioners. If you or a family member would like a visit, please call Rectory.
PLEASE NOTE — ANYONE WISHING TO RECEIVE THE SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION or FIRST HOLY COMMUNION this coming Spring, please call the Rectory now as soon as possible, so that the arrangements can be made for the appropriate sacramental preparations and instruction.
NEXT SUNDAY !!!! ST. EMERIC FEASTDAY CELEBRATION — SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 8, beginning with Mass at 11 AM, followed by dinner afterwards.
