It was a day of celebrations on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at St. Emeric Church! Some of the youngest girls and boys of the parish participated in the entrance procession and May Crowning of the Blessed Virgin Mary statue at the beginning of Mass. First Communion was also held on this day. At the end of Mass, all of the parishioners in attendance congratulated our pastor Fr. Bona for his 20th anniversary of his ordination as a priest. A “spiritual bouquet” gathered from the parishioners was presented as a fitting gift for this important occasion. The spiritual bouquet was a collection of prayer intentions to be offered for Fr. Bona which were collected and summed up in a beautifully hand created presentation card. After the Mass there was an agapé in the church hall in honor of these three wonderful celebrations with fellowship, food, and refreshments for all.
