ST. EMERIC FEAST DAY MASS AND BANQUET – NOVEMBER 3, 2024

OUR PATRONAL FEAST will be celebrated on Sunday, November 3, 2024 and Rev. Dr. Kornél Fábry, auxiliary bishop of Esztergom-Budapest, will be our main celebrant at the 11 a.m. Mass. We will begin with a Eucharistic Adoration after the 9 a.m. Mass in English. At 10:45 a.m. we will have the Benediction, followed by the Solemn Mass at 11 a.m. in Hungarian. After the Mass, we will have a feast day banquet with Bishop Fábry as our guest of honor. The menu will be: traditional chicken soup, roast pork with mushroom sauce, rice pilaf, cabbage salad, walnut torte, coffee. The cost of the meal is $25 and $15 for students (free for children of six years of age or under) and you can register by October 30 with Maria Zsula (216-676-5863) or Maria Meszaros (440-331-0391).

Bishop Fábry helps with the responsibility of the Hungarian Catholic Churches in North America and its diaspora community. He is a dynamic and charismatic religious leader, and we encourage everyone to attend the Mass to hear him speak and receive his message to the community and join us afterwards in celebrating his presence at the banquet.
