Saint Stephen Day festivities were celebrated at St. Emeric Church on Sunday, August 21, 2022, in honor of Hungary’s first king and patron saint. Following the solemn Mass, a picnic was held in the church’s main hall due to the inclement, rainy weather. Dr. Csaba Krasznai, honorary consul for the Hungarian government in Cleveland and Bishop of the Hungarian Reformed Church was the keynote speaker at the afternoon celebrations. A good time was had by the many in attendance who enjoyed great food, drinks, music and a folk-dance performance by Aniko Balassy and Laszlo Tihányi..
