BUCKEYE ROAD NATIONALITY REUNION PICNIC – THIS SUNDAY – JUNE 12 noon to 6PM at the Hungarian cultural Center of Northeaster Ohio, 12027Abbott Road, Hiram, Ohio 44234. Food, music, $5 dollar admission at gate. No pets or coolers allowed.

JUNE 18, SATURDAY, after the 5 p.m. Mass we will have a presentation about our pilgrimage experience to the shrine of Csiksomlyo, as well as a traditional Transylvanian dinner.  Menu: vegetable soup with pork, seasoned with lemon, layered polenta with sour cream, sheep cheese and bacon, and chimney cakes for dessert.  No alcohol will be served. We need to know how many people to cook for, so please make reservations by June 16 by calling Piri Beodray 440-356-8985, or Marika Zsula 216-676-5863.  Donation $15 for adults, $10 for students.

MONDAY, JUNE 13, IS THE FEAST OF ST. ANTHONY OF PADUA, one of the most beloved and popular saints of the church, an outstanding orator and teacher.  He said that the preacher should descend to the level of the people, so that he can lift them up, especially those who have fallen.  St. Anthony is the patron saint of many causes, and has many symbols.
