FROM THE DESK OF FR. To discover more about this must-see event, to view the impressive line-up of speakers, and to register, visit www.bringingamericabacktolife.org or call (440) 281-1502. Let us do what we can to bring America back to life!

The 2021 CATHOLIC CHARITIES ANNUAL APPEAL is underway with an in-pew commitment process taking place this weekend. This is not a special collection; rather, the Catholic Charities Annual Appeal represents the chance for all Catholics to make a significant pledge, payable in installments, to Catholic Charities, Diocese of Cleveland in order to support its mission of a society that stands united in its support of the “least among us.” Many parishioners have received a letter from Bishop Malesic requesting their support. If you have not received this letter, please respond to the in-pew commitment process today! If you have received the mailing, please respond to it. Please consider a generous gift that will change the lives of the 400,000 who are served each year in Northeast Ohio. Please pray for the success of the Appeal, which provides for essential programs and services in need throughout all eight counties of the Diocese of Cleveland. Double your impact! A generous donor, who believes in the mission of Catholic Charities, will match your gift, up to $1 million. Do twice as much good when you give online at CatholicCommunity.org/Match. On behalf of the poor and needy of Northeast Ohio, thank you!

LAST WEEKEND’S COLLECTION: Sunday Offering: $1,651. Maintenance: $1,240. Thank you for remembering your church’s needs in these difficult times. Thank you also for sending in your offertory donation when not in attendance at Mass either by mail or on our website using a credit card or the PayPal option: https://stemeric.com/donations/

CONCERNING THE PUBLISHING OF THE NAMES OF DONORS: I have received quite a few requests from the donors that their names not be published in the bulletin. This led me to rethink the current custom of publishing the names in the bulletin. It is rather impractical and inherently problematic to keep a constantly updating list of those who object to their names being published (plus not knowing which new donors may also dislike this practice). After consulting with several parishioners, considering the aforementioned impracticality, the praxis in other parishes, the danger of inadvertently upsetting donors, and Mt 6:3-4, I decided that going forward the names of people will not be published. Company donations or bequests may still be published (unless requested otherwise). We will keep a list of those who give in memory of a deceased loved one, and upon request, we will share it with the family of the deceased who would like to thank personally to the donors. Thank you for your understanding.

February 22 is the LAST DAY to order Scout Banquet dinner as TAKE-OUT. More information at www.csbk.org
