Our patronal feast was celebrated on November 7, 2021, and Cleveland Catholic Diocese’s new bishop, Edward C. Malesic, was our main celebrant. We began the day with a Eucharistic Adoration. This was followed by the Solemn Mass at 11AM. Following the Mass, we had a sit-down meal in the Church Hall attended by many including Bishop Malesic. The menu was a traditional chicken soup, cucumber salad, baked half chicken with stuffing of mushrooms and smoked ham, wild rice pilaf, roasted vegetable medley, and walnut buttercream torte, and coffee.
On the Cleveland Catholic diocese website an article appeared detailing the day’s events. It can be seen here: https://www.dioceseofcleveland.org/news/2021/11/11/st-emeric-parish-welcomes-bishop-for-feast-day-celebration
