DEAR PARISHIONERS OF ST. EMERIC! Thank you very much for the warm welcome to the parish. I appreciate the kindness and the help you have shown me. At the time of my reception of the Sacrament of Confirmation, when we customarily choose a name for ourselves, I chose St. Emeric – not knowing at all that one day I will be serving in a parish dedicated to him. Speaking of welcome, as you have already heard we are also welcoming our new bishop: Most. Rev. Edward C. Malesic. Even though we will not start mentioning his name in the Eucharistic Prayer until after his installation (September 14), let us keep him in our prayers as well. Fr. Bona
