FROM THE DESK OF FR. BONA: (1) Next Sunday, for our feast-day, after the 9AM Mass, the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed and the Benediction will be at 10:45 AM. For our principal Mass at 11AM, Bp. Kornél Fábry will be the main celebrant. A fuller description of this event is found below. Even if you are not able to come to the luncheon, I hope that you will be able to join us for the Mass with the bishop.

(2) This year the Solemnity of the All Saints falls on Friday and we are bound to attend Mass for this solemnity. To fulfill this obligation, we will have the following Masses: on Thursday, October 31 at 6PM (in English), on Friday, Nov. 1 at 9AM, 12Noon (language depending on those present) and at 6:00PM (in Hungarian).

(3) On Saturday, November 2, we will celebrate the All Souls Day. In addition to the regularly scheduled Saturday evening 5PM Mass, we will also have a 9AM morning Mass. The 5PM Mass will be offered for those who have died from our parish since the previous All Souls Day. If you would like to add other names to be remembered, please let me know.

(4) Thank you very much to all of you who helped with the preparation for and the hosting of the October 23rd event at our church last Sunday.

OUR PATRONAL FEAST will be celebrated on November 3 and Bp. Kornél Fábry, auxiliary bishop of Esztergom-Budapest (Hungary), will be our main celebrant at 11AM Mass. We will begin with a Eucharistic Adoration after 9AM Mass in English. At 10:45AM we will have the Benediction, followed by the Solemn Mass at 11AM. After the Mass, we will have a luncheon. The menu will be: traditional chicken soup, roast pork with mushroom sauce, rice pilaf, cabbage salad, walnut torte, coffee. The cost of the meal will be $25 and $15 for students (free for children of six years of age or under). Please, make your reservations by October 30 with Maria Zsula (216-676-5863) or Maria Meszaros (440-331-0391).

ELIZABETH FEAST DAY CELEBRATION WILL BE NOVEMBER 17: Solemn Bilingual Mass at 11:30 AM followed by dinner. Dinner Menu: half of stuffed chicken, green beans, rice, salad and apricot dessert, coffee. Music, Bake sale. Cost: $25 for adults, for students $10, for children under 5 free. Due to limited seating, reservations are being accepted exclusively from parishioners until November 1, after which time the reservations are open to all. RSVP to Virginia Kachmar (216-246-2370) or (for Hungarian) Susan Siodi (216-581-4333). DINNER RSVP by Wed, Nov. 15.
